Eric Wigston, our expert mixologist, will introduce the show-themed cocktail, talk about the history of the drink and how it pertains to the show, and will prepare some samples for the gathered crowd at the pre-show chat. Theatre Talk Thursdays take place on the first Thursday evening performance of each play in our subscription season, from 6:45pm - 7:15pm, in the Max Bell Theatre upper lobby. Open to all ticket holders for this performance.

Join us for a sweet treat! From 1:15-1:45pm (in our upper lobby), indulge in a special pre-show presentation and delicious free samples by Calgary's very own Chocolate Lab. They'll be showcasing their incredible handcrafted bonbons and other confections. This is the perfect way to learn about their vision & story as well as enjoy some local flavor to enhance your Theatre Calgary experience.

Talk about the show and learn more about the stories and characters with members of our artistic staff and artists from the production after the second Tuesday performance during the run. These talks will take place in the theatre immediately after the show. Open to all ticket holders for this performance.

Salon Saturdays (both matinee and evening performances) feature pre-show discussions with an expert guest speaker on the themes explored in each show in the upper lobby of the Max Bell Theatre. These talks begin 45 minutes before curtain (duration 30 minutes). Open to all ticket holders for this performance.
Start times: 1:15pm, 6:45pm.

Salon Saturdays (both matinee and evening performances) feature pre-show discussions with an expert guest speaker on the themes explored in each show in the upper lobby of the Max Bell Theatre. Theatre Calgary partners with Inside Out Theatre’s Good Host Program to offer ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation and Audio Description for this performance. For the blind or visually impaired audience members, a description of the the visual elements of the performance will be conveyed in real-time through headphones for audience members who request this feature.

Theatre Calgary partners with Inside Out Theatre’s Good Host Program to present a Relaxed Environment performance. The performance remains the same, but the environment may include:
• The designation of a “Quiet Space” for those people who feel overwhelmed.
• House lighting in the auditorium will not be lowered to complete darkness while the production is on.
• Additional staff and support team members to assist with the diverse needs of our patrons.
