Reneltta is the Director of Indigenous Arts at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She is founder and Artistic Director of Akpik Theatre, a northern professional Indigenous theatre company. An alumni of Centre for Indigenous Theatre and University of Alberta – BFA (Acting) program. Director experience includes: Messiah/Complex (Against the Grain Theatre), The Birds (Studio Theatre), All That Binds Us (Azimuth Theatre), The Breathing Hole (The Stratford Festival) where she received the 2017 Tyrone Guthrie - Derek F. Mitchell Artistic Director's Award, The Unplugging (Gwaandak Theatre.) Radio plays: The Unplugging (Common Boots Theatre), Niitahtaastsi (Jupiter Theatre) I Count Myself Among Them (Akpik Theatre), Ndoo Tr’eedyaa Gogwaandak - Forward Together (Gwaandak Theatre.) Co-Director experience: Kuekuatsheu Mak Muak (Anorae Productions) and Aklavik Journals (Stuck in a Snowbank Theatre). Reneltta has extensive directing experience working within Indigenous communities across Canada in self-creation work. She is thrilled to be bringing The Comedy of Errors to Treaty 7 communities with this incredible team. 

Barry Bilinsky is an Alberta-based theatre artist of Metis/Cree descent originally from Edmonton, Alberta in Treaty 6 territory. His work spans several disciplines, as a theatre director, writer, and clown-based performer, as well as along the spectrum of community driven projects to professional theatre. Barry is the Artistic Director of Fool Spectrum Theatre, a clown-based theatre company in Alberta, as well as an Artistic Associate with Iiniistsi Treaty Arts Society, Alberta Aboriginal Arts, and the Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society. A graduate of the University of Alberta’s Bachelor of Arts program, Barry focuses on creating work with diverse communities through various art disciplines.

Rebbekah is a multi-discipline theatre artist from the little town of Invermay, Saskatchewan, who has recently made Calgary her home. She has an FRSA in Theatre Arts from Rosebud School of the Arts. Select acting credits include: An Ocean in my Soul (AOIMS Productions), Salt-Water Moon (Creating Genesis) A Christmas Story, The Kite, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol (Rosebud Theatre), A Comedy of Errors, A L.M. Montgomery Christmas (RSA). She is excited to be in Shakespeare on the Go this year, doing her first in-person play since the pandemic hit. She is grateful to her husband Joel for supporting her and encouraging her to go outside her own comfort zone.

Spencer Streichert is an actor, comedian & filmmaker of Cree-Metis & European ancestry. Born in Nelson, BC, and raised in Eastend, SK, he grew up performing in community theatre and competing in rodeos as a bronc & bull rider. Now he is a Canadian Comedy Award Nominee and has performed all across Canada. In 2020 in wake of the pandemic Spencer and his partner Siobhan Cooney started the Quarantine International Film Festival (QIFF) as a way for creatives to stay busy during isolation. Dylan Thomas-Bouchier is a Cree and Dene dis-arts storyteller. Born and raised in Fort McMurray and the Fort McKay First Nation (Treaty 8), He graduated from The National Theatre School of Canada (NTS) acting program in 2021. Dylan is focused on using his voice and presence as an Indigenous artist and dis-arts storyteller to develop and support important and engaging stories using different forms of storytelling on Turtle Island. Dylan has returned to Alberta after 3 years training at NTS. And is happy to be working and playing closer to home.

Becca is a Vancouver Island born and raised Indo-Canadian Marathoner. As a Stage Manager, Becca has supported teams throughout BC from Theatre, to Opera, to Dance, and beyond. She is thrilled to be creating and working with Theatre Calgary for the first time. Sarah Ord is a Queer Theatre Artist and Drag King from Mohkinstis. Sarah finds joy and passion in many forms of art creation, including: singing, acting, devising, and dance. As an Artist and Performer, she strives to tell truthful stories for anyone who will listen.  Sarah aims to bring an audience somewhere they may have never visited otherwise. She believes that it’s a privilege to tell our stories, and hopes that the people who listen will be changed by them. Sarah thanks her family, friends, and mentors for their endless support. Hannah is grateful to be based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan on Treaty 6 territory also known as Edmonton. She was born on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is a multi-disciplinary artist who loves to act, sing and groove for stage and screen. Her recent theatre credits include The Merry Wives of Windsor (University of Alberta), Crooked Midnight (University of Alberta), The Seduction Theory (Sarasvati Productions), The Bridges of Madison County (Dry Cold Productions), Baba Yaga (AMTC), Don Juan Comes Back from the War (Studio Theatre), The Birds (Studio Theatre), Dracula (Studio Theatre). Courtney is a recent graduate of the University of Alberta’s BFA Stage Management Program. She was born and raised in BC and grew up training as a dancer for fourteen years, which lead her into the world of theatre. With her studio, she got the chance to dance in Disneyland and on multiple Cruise Ships. A special thank you to Tiffany. Recent Stage Manager credits include: The Birds (UofA), Princess Bear (M.H. Lauren Brady is an actor from Calgary, Alberta. She is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta’s BFA in Acting program and is excited to debut into the theatre community with the Shakespeare on the Go company! Lauren is known as an actor, dancer, clown, and choreographer, who loves physically embodying characters and taking them to any extreme. Favourite credits include The Birds, The Secret in the Wings (Studio Theatre), The Boyfriend, The Merry Wives of Windsor (University of Alberta). Lauren is also known for combining Pochinko Clown and Contemporary dance. Works include BREAKing up (Nextfest Festival), LOST IN CONNECTION (Fluid Fest). Alongside her acting career, Lauren is the co-creator of Shakespeare's Hunnies, a website/blog focused on sharing emerging artists' work and creating a greater community.

Anna nearly bursts with joy that she gets to be an actor here in Mohkinstsis. She rejoins Theatre Calgary for another summer of Shakespeare after having played Juliet in last year's zany online edition. She’s thrilled that creativity has prevailed and given this program yet another new format… this time with in-person audiences! Anna is so grateful to be able to gather with you again. Previous credits include four shows with Rosebud Theatre, three with Rosebud School of the Arts (FRSA 2019), The Tempest (The Shakespeare Company), The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (ATP), and of course Romeo & Juliet (Theatre Calgary's Shakespeare by the Bow). Zachary Strom is a theatre artist currently based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan, colonially known as Edmonton. He has just graduated from the University of Alberta's BFA in Acting program, and is delighted to be working with Theatre Calgary on his first show post-formal-education (and post-pandemic, with any luck)! Ashley is so excited to be back with Theatre Calgary! After such a long time away, it is thrilling to once again bring live theatre to audiences. It is so heartwarming to know that the passion to perform has not been lost and that now, more than ever, people want to participate in the stories we tell. Jane is the Resident Voice Coach for Theatre Calgary and has worked on over 65 productions with the company, including 16 years with A Christmas Carol and every year of Shakespeare By the Bow / On the Go!  She is also the Voice and Dialect Consultant for Vertigo Theatre and the Voice and Text Coach for The Shakespeare Company.  Jane has taught Voice for the Actor and Acting at a number of institutions, including York University, Harvard University, Southern Methodist University, Mount Royal University, University of Alberta and is currently teaching in the Drama Division in the School of Creative and Performing Arts  at the University of Calgary.  She is grateful to be in a room, working in person with these wonderful emerging artists - it gives her hope for the future

Allison has appeared on most of Calgary’s stages either onstage as an actor or behind the scenes as a composer/sound-designer/music director/vocal director, often fulfilling all these roles at once. Allison was the recipient of three Betty Mitchell Awards for acting (Romeo & Juliet- The Shakespeare Company/ Hit & Myth, Ash Rizin’- ATP, Twisted- Forte) and one for composing (The Scarlet Letter, Theatre Calgary), as well as the 2019 Critic's Choice Award for Outstanding Design for her score for The Ministry of Grace (The Belfry) at the Greater Victoria Regional Theatre Awards. You may have seen her outside Alberta onstage at the NAC, The Grand, Rainbow Stage, Persephone, The Arts Club, The Drayton Festival, The Belfry or The Chemainus Theatre Festival, and as far abroad as Kuala Lumpur with the Malaysian Symphony Orchestra.
