Overview
Hamlet’s father, the King, has mysteriously died and his Uncle Claudius now wears the crown and has taken Hamlet’s mother as his wife. The young prince must make a decision: suffer his suspicion and rage in silence, or take action to avenge his father’s death. Shakespeare’s masterpiece is a riveting portrait of youth, love, and betrayal.
